definitely not, i think the crowd really likes buakaw and hes getting quite popular. if he beats masato again, then i think they'll start regreting it =P masato has all the tools and then some to handle buakaw though, but until he does, buakaw is #1 in my books.

ihara (masato's former trainer) brought him in
ihara's gym also has shin noppadetsorn(raja ww champion), chalmsak and kick monsters like kikuchi

he's basically the main consultant (k-1) for bringing in the best talent from thai
and ihara has had connections with many thai boxing clubs
as well as heavy ties with rajadamnern

it's all fair play, win or lose. ihara believes that they should put the spotlight on the best fighters in the world
and despite the fact that he trained guys like kikuchi, masato(even sent him to thai), many others..
ihara has always felt the thais are the best, and should show their strengths in japan
therefore competition is great, brings out the best in japanese fighters as well

honestly k-1 is a great organization for kickboxing
they 'TRY' to bring in the best talent from around the world

i say TRY because what many of you don't realize is, there are sponsers, mainly the TV stations who's only concern is getting their investments through
and it's a constant battle, or should i say balance between interests of skills and ratings

believe me, k-1 management fully supports buakaw

Send a message via MSN to BlackLion
I'm sure a fresh Masato can beat him.

Why would they regret bringing in a talented fighter? He brings everything a organization would want from a fighter to their show.
