When I'd work security downtown in Honolulu they'd drag me into Rich Manio's sport bar(he was a Miami Dolphin) and he'd be in there drunk as a skunk, but always was pretty cordial. Good crowd overall, Rich was a sparring partner and wanted to drag me in there as well, but rumors abounded about Dennis kind of getting real sketchy, and there's enough of an ice problem on that island for me to want to avoid it all.

Another good memory is getting lit and tore up in there with Marvelous Marvin Haggler. He had some cool clientele.

It's a pity to hear Dennis has fallen so far. I remember he got his leg broken, then he seemed to just fade out of sight after that; that was about the time my interest in seriously following pro kickboxing though the two were not related.

I heard Dennis was extradited to San Francisco since the charges originated in the bay area, but I have no idea where or if he is incarcerated.

I really am in need of help. If any of youguys can help me, please do, I will greatly appreciate it. I need to know is Dennis is locked up in San Francisco or Hawaii. I am trying to find out so I can contact him. He is one of my hero's.

I normally try not pay much attention to the hype surrounding my father. I have always understood that it came with the territory, however, some of the assumptions people have made about my father have really begun to weigh on me. My father has never done any drugs or had substance abuse problems. My father is a devoted athlete and has always taken care of his body. I believe it would be a contradiction if my father did drugs as a professional fighter. I can honestly say I have seen my father drink one beer in my 22 years of existance. As for my step mother she has never been unfaithful to my father and their marriage is very sound. Also, my step mother has lived in that house almost her entire life, she is from Aiea. My father has not lost his mind and is not unstable; although some of his theories that having to do with the law is out of the norm and not neccessarily something I understand I dont want people believing or feeling like he is a loose cannon and not approachable. It sad to think that his neighbors are being warned not to say hi to him because he is unstable. His issues with my mother have not affected my perception of him and I would just appreciate a bit of censorship when it comes to allegations like this. I have a little brother who is 5, a sister that is 2, and a new baby sister that was born just before Thanksgiving and for their sake, especially the man who knows his neighbor, saying he has a drug problem and is mental ill.
