can anyone confirm that it will not air in the US for sure? I see most say it wont, but I have been pumped up for it for too long! i will def be sad as i thought that the contender name would obv. make it air on NBC...their main homepage just says AXN so i am assuming just airing in asia.....guess ill have to view it on youtube right after....

Considering there's a writters strike, those dumb asses at NBC better give Contender Asia a chance in the States. I mean dont these fools know that Muay Thai is an important component of the ever growing popular Mixed Martial Arts! I think American audiences are ready or at least curious to watch a cast which has only one American and the rest are Eurotrash, Aussies, and Asians.
