2 out of the 3 titles changed hands at throw down in O-town April 26th 2008!!!

Throw down in O-Town, Canada's newest large scale Muay Thai promotion had an event last weekend featuring 13 bouts and 3 title fights. To read the review of the event, get all the results, and see all the pictures from the stacked card please visit the link below.

Ottawa, Ontario, April 26th 2008—Throw Down in O-Town. Two things were left inarguable last night as Throw Down in O-Town came to a close. After 13 bouts, two out of the three titles that were being defended exchanged hands, and if The Ottawa Academy of Martial Art’s “Throw Down” show wasn’t already considered to be the premiere Muay Thai event in Ontario, let alone Canada, then as of last night it most certainly is now.

The stacked card featured three title fights, tons of local talent, and some familiar out of town fighters. Each and every one of the competitors truly gave it their all in a night filled with non stop action. In true warrior fashion each fighter entered the ring ready to put on a show for the packed crowd at The Sportsplex in Ottawa, Canada. Not a single seat was left available as true fans of the sport filled the halls and back of the arena leaving standing room only for the event’s spectators. The only disappointment was that the arena wasn’t big enough to let in more fans, as everyone had a great time in the high intensity crowd.....

Amature. Ontario has really strict rules on it's combat sports. MMA isn't sanctioned here at all.

It was their second showing in Ottawa. Very nice card, full of action.
