Carnage vs Spong SPOILER

The fight ended in a strange NC, after Spong started strongly he was knocked out by Carnage with a leftstraight right cross combo. Spong was given a long 10 count and when he stood up was clearly woobly.
The ref then brought the fighters together and backed away ( with his back to Carnage) at the same moment Carnage attacked Spong assuming the fight was still on the ref now standing about 2-3 paces away starts waving the fight over. Carnage proceds to knock Spong down again.
Ref calls a No Contest

So the ref is saying Carnage had already won the fight before he knocked Spong down at 2nd time, however on watching the replay it is clear the ref was very unclear in his decision and most people assumed the fight was still on.

The fight showed Carnage is the better of the two fighters and defeated Spong on Spongs terms, with Carnage having to go up in weight and fight without his best weapon elbows.

Hopefully upon revision they change the result to Carnage win by KO as it was the refs fault and there was no malice invovled.

I would like a rematch not because this fight was a no contest( co Carnage clearly won) but because i think they a very evenly matched and would always be a very entertaining fight.

it is now officially a No contest. Spong broke his hand early on in the fight and couldn't punch anymore. Carnett knocked spong down for an 8 count, but carnett knocked spong down while the ref hadn't restarted the fight so no contest.

See that's a great coverage of the fight and I feel that the malice and bias between the fans before the fight was unnecessary. Hope for a rematch because from the pbp the fight was awesome with a controversial ending.

Also a +1 on CPH's comment. I would also like to see a source for the broken hand comment.

Source is Spong the first thing he said was i broke my hand, which sounded very much like a excuse straight up. He lost fair and square.
The ref said the fight was over when Corbett knocked Spong down a secound time. The ref was very unclear and i think it was the same American ref that gave the French guy in the Slowinski fight a 8 count because he got sweeped.
