no shouldnt do, if you get there a little before the start then you should be able to get a better view

depends on how much your looking to spend to be honest, the pinnacle which is a short way up soi ngarm duphli on the opposite side of Rama4 road from Lumpini is supposed to be o.k and not too expensive
