Bonjasky vs Manhoef???????

Ok, I need some info. I try to stay up on the fight news, but I somehow missed this one. I know they fought a while back with Remy winning (the size difference is ridiculous!), but now I'm hearing that they fought again, and Manhoef was hurt and needed stitches and did his last fight at DREAM III anyway. Could someone give me some info (who won, and by what, maybe a link, atleast to a K1 news site or something...Thank you very much - you guys have always been cool with us "mma" guys -

2 1/2 weeks ago they fought in Holland, and Remy won. manhoef did really good even though he got knocked down in every round right up until he got tko'ed by a RHK in the final round.

Manhoef had Bonjasky against the ropes a couple of times but he said himself that Bonjasky's defense was awesome and he couldnt penetrate it enough. Bonjasky was using his kicks and knees very effective that night/

Manhoef needed surgery to remove the blood from behind his lungs and spent 7 days in the hospital. one week after being released from the hospital he fought at dream.

And the award for Baddest Fighter Of The Month April goes to Manhoef. I thought they were joking when someone posted this on a Dutch forum, but it turned out to be true.

Those kicks and knees are very very damaging. Manhoef wanted to quit on several occasions in the fight despite having a very strong and trained body. He also lost some teeth in the process. These are the kind of strikes that break ribs and arms and cause other severe injuries ...
Anyway Manhoef needs to stay away from the top heavyweights in K-1, he lacks the size to compete with them.
In the lower weight classes he can kick some serious ass and he's very exciting to watch. He can start with the Dream title.

Totally agree. He is very quick and compact, but will lose out size wise-pretty much every time.

Melvin Manhoef is one of the top fighters in my book simply due to the heart and will he possesses. He's always willing to fight whoever, whenever, and that alone shows the type of warrior he is.
