i really like this particular thread. i know little about the MT/Kickboxing world and this is helpful.

Question for the OP - who is the next big thing in the world of MT/Kickboxing?

Rob Kaman is my P4P top guy but my favorite is Mr. Perfect Ernesto Hoost.

Right now I like Canadian Clifton Brown who won a championship in Thailand and is currently fighting in the European Super League.

Here is a shitty quality video of that fight. Full Contacter Moncayo just helpless in the clinch. Recognize the ref?

Great find. Is that Cecil Peoples?

HI5 to the thread starter, good job.

You seem to know a lot about MT. Do you know if Danny Steel is still around? How about Melchor Menor (spelling?). I know they were both pretty good. I saw Danny win a close decision over Saksem Fairtex and I know Melchor was invited to fight in thailand on the king's birthday.

When I was in thailand I didn't have time to catch up on who the current top fighters were and I only got to go to Lumpinee one time and it wasn't packed so I doubt any of the top fighters were fighting that night. Thanks for the list of top world fighters to watch.

One last question. Are there any good Muay Thai match DVDs out? Any career dvds of some of the top fighters?

Guys like Kaman and Roufus are actually more of kickboxers than MuayThai, though Kaman is still good in MT

That was Cecil Peoples and yea Danny Steele still fights. Michael Mananquil beat him just a few weeks ago. Melchor Menor is retired.
