Best Pound4Pound Muay Thai/Kickboxer Of All Time (Not In Order))

Apidej Sit Hirun: 340 wins 1 draws 10 losses, known as 'The Champion of Seven Titles', the most fearful kicker that Muay Thai may ever have seen, he once broke his opponent's arm with his kick strike. His kick aresenal made him famous as he set a record by holding, at one time, seven welterweight titles of both Muay Thai and International boxing, a historic record that still stands. He is also known as The Man of 7 Titles and The Legendary Best Muaythai Kicker of the Century and The Best Muaythai Fighter of the Century, titles were awarded by the Authority King of Thailand.

Deiselnoi Chor Thanasukarn(Sky-Piercing Knee Kicker): The most feared fighter ever, His hand to hand combat skills remain unequalled. At the age of 19 Deisel Noi gained Light Weight title at Lumphini. Defending it for four years and abondioning it only for lack of adversaries.
Hardly anyone dared to challenge the champion Deisel Noi fearing severe and painful defeat. He enjoyed 50 (16 KOs in a row using his knees) consecutive wins and finished his career early as the result of his exceptional force. A technique which transformed him into a Muay thai legend His rapid, power strikes and aggressive style of fighting led to a revolution in Muay Thai that lasted into the 90s. Some movements regularly used in the ring before the arrival of Deisel Noi he made obsolete through technical innovations. He will always be a person to admire and learn from. He also beat tae kwon do fighters from Korea and karate fighters from Japan with ease. Dieselnoi was matched against John Moncayo, at the Olympic Stadium, Los Angeles, USA. With high speed and precision, Dieselnoi knocked his opponent with his ferocious knee kick. And he won, without much sweat.

Samart Payakaroon(The best of all): 170 Muay Thai wins, Muay thai world champion and two time world featherweight boxing champion. He has won several Lumpini titles and was also recognised as the most skilful Muay Thai fighter ever. He was one of few who had the courage to face the terror of the ring, Deisel Noi.

Ramon Dekker(Diamond): 175 wins (90 KOs) 26 losses, The best known European Muay thai fighter of all time. He has fought against some of the top Thai boxers of his time including Coban whom he fought twice, knocking out Coban in round one, then in a following bout, being knocked out by Coban in an almost copycat version.

Coban Lookchaomaesaithong(Cruncher): 270 Fights Fought Dekkers a total of four times, Winning 2 and Lossing 2. Also beaten Danny Bille and his former student Danny Steele .

Jomhod Kiatadisak(King of the Ring): 240 wins (74 KOs) 3 draws 23 losses, Lumpini stadium champion at the age 19. 10x world muay thai champion.
WMC Professional World champion, Thai boxing - 00, 04
WPKL Professional World champion, Thai boxing -00, 02
ISKA Professional World champion, Thai boxing - 98, 02
WPKA Professional World champion, Thai boxing -01
WKN Professional World champion, Thai boxing -00
WKA Professional World champion, Thai boxing -98
WKA Professional World champion, Kick boxing -98
Rajdamnern stadium champion - 94, 95
WMTC Professional World champion, Thai boxing -91
Lumpini stadium champion -89

Sagat Petchyindee(Streetfighter): 317 Fights very few loss, one of the very greatest fighters ever, who has a fighting history unequalled by no other man. Beaten Rob Kaman and Ivan Hippolyte

Poodpardnoi Worawoot: This man challenged Benny "The Jet" Urquidez in a Muay Thai rule match many years ago and "The Jet" backed down after seeing him practice.

Nanfah Seharadecho: 165 wins 23 draws 8 losses he became Bangkok's Rajadmnern bantamweight champion in 1980 to 1986 when he retired.

Pol Prapradang: 350 bouts both international style boxing and Muay Thai. No KO or TKO defeats with any opponents. Not even once counted down during the fights. Making his record more spectacular is the fact that Pol often fought with much heavier fighters than himself.

Rob Kaman: 98 wins 9 losses, Considered by some to be the greatest 'kickboxer'(not muay thai) to ever live and one Europe's All time great Thai boxers, being one of the few to beat the Thais at their own game.

Benny Urquidez: quote: (In the late 1970s Benny Fought against Prayoud Sittiboonlert of thailand in japan. sittiboonlert was not the current muay thai champion. nevertheless, he punished urquidez so bad that urquidez's cornermen threw in the towel at the end of round 2. What upsets me about the urquidez publicists is the fact they totally try to hide the result of this match. In December 1998 issue of Black Belt Magazine(page 33-34), Floyd Burk wrote: "Urquidez was so 'bad' that he could go to any country on earth, fight anybody he was paired up with according to their rules- and beat the living daylights out of them...Thai boxing-style leg whips and elbows and knees strikes, made it impossible for urquidez's opponents to plan an effective stragedy against him. They tried, but not a single one could do it." I've had enought such false information surrounding urquidez's misrepresented undefeated record and his false claims of having face kickboxing opponents under any ruled. For one, Sittiboonlert beat Benny soundly. Benny could not continue into the third round. Secondly, the WKA later ruled the fight a "no contest" because they wanted to protect the record of their boy. How could someone not have a "lost" on their record if their conermen threw in the towel? Third, Benny did not want anything to do with having to fight against a Muay-Thai in Thailand (Especially with knees, elbows and clinching). He repeatedly rejected any further challenges. To Urquidez's publicists and future publicists, if you want to say that Urquidez was a Full-Contact Karate Champion, then that's okay - you would have my respect. But don't try to misinform the public by saying that Benny was an undefeated World Champion in the ring who beat all of his challengers. He never stepped into Thailand and his lost to Sittiboonlert was never on his record. I don't know if Benny is responsible for the misrepresentation. But his publicist need to start telling the truth. I apologize for the rather rude connotation of this statement, but I've tolerated the lack of respect towards Thai Boxers from Urquidez's crew for more than a decade and it's time to show the world the truth. It is disrespectful to lose to an opponent or to refuse the challenges of a legitimate challenger and talk as if you have conquered them. That is disrespect to Sittiboonlert! That is disrespect to Muay Thai! And I'm not just speaking for Muay Thai community in Thailand, but for many Muay Thai practitioners in the USA, EUROPE, ASIA, AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND). - By Belt Is In The Ring

Don Wilson: quote (In September 1983 at Bankok's Ratchadamnoen Stadium, one of the best american Full-Contact Karate fighters Don "The Dragon" Wilson faced Thailand's Samart Prasamit. Wilson was about 20 pounds heavier; nevertheless, the Thai knocked Down Wilson down twice and Prasamit was declared the winner. Afterwards, Don Wilson told reporters that he would start learning Muay Thai. For no apparent reason, Howard Hansen, then president of the WKA, changed the record on Don Wilson's record to a No Contest. WHY? Hansen even admitted to have never seen footages of the match. His decision was based on the comments of Wilson's Team. This would not be the only time that an American was defeated only to have an American organization erase the lose to protect the record of their champion. In 1992, Stan Longinidis of Australia fractured American Champion Dennis Alexio's shin with a low Thai kicks very early in the bout. Stan Longinidis was declared the winner. What happened afterwards? The ISKA overturned the
decision to a no-contest). - By Belt Is In The Ring

I think he's mad that his fave fighter can't even hang in the standup game with KENNY FLORIAN.

Thanks for the breakdown of fighters. That was a good read.

Yea Coban has said 4 but 1 he didn't give a shit about because the promoter fooled him.

Apidej Sit Hirun was also the trainer of Jack Osbourne LOL. Peter Cunningham, trained the Deadly Fight Professor Stephan Quadros haha.
