Amsterdam is expensinve like, if you really want to go then go but I live in Holland and would go to the south. In Breda you have Ramon Dekker/Golden Glory for example. It is cheaper and the people from the south are more relax then in the north.

But the best Boxers come from the North!?

No! Ramon Dekker, Nieky Holzken, Peter Aerts, Andy Souwer and Albert Kraus are from the south. It's just as good, cheaper and easier to find accomodation.

Think also that the Netherlands is small you could easilyt comute by train once in a while or even by train on a 45/60 minute ride.

What you should try is to get in contact with somebody who leaves his or her appartment for a month travelling orso.

Check out this site:
Kamer amsterdam, kamers amsterdam, studentenkamer
or: kamer huren | kamer verhuren | Kamernet.nl
It's in Dutch but I think you would understand the basics (prizing, dates).

Best way to get around is by bicycle, which costs around 20€ from a homeless guy.

15 euros a meal, what are you talking about? Who the fuck goes to a restaurant to eat 3 times a day. If you are living somehwere you just go to the supermarket and buy food and it does not work out at anything close to that. I have been to Holland many times and the prices aren't anything like that.

I could care less what area I'm in as long as the training is top notch, I will definitely look into Breda (might be preferable to amsterdam actually)

Getting a place in Amsterdam can be tricky especially without connections. Like others said, there are other cities with great gyms that are alot less expensive (and have less distractions) then Amsterdam.

For food, I can live easily on 6-7 euros a day as a student. Just going to a discount supermarket (they are everywhere these days) and you'll get decent food for a good price.

And for getting around: get a bike. Junkies sell em for like 5-10 euros. Public transportation is a bitch here outside the big cities and a bike is faster too in most cases. The only trouble is getting home after you recieve too many lowkicks
