Because he's the only guaranteed drawcard in the country. Because he's virtually guaranteed of a win and because sponsors pretty much won't touch a big tournament if he's not in it.

Chey Kosal, Bird Khamm, Oth Phouthang, Nuon Soriya, Vorn Viva and Meas Chantha just aren't as famous or commercially viable from the moneymen's point of view.

Angelov looked like he had quick legs and was doing alright with his teep. As soon as Phutong started throwing those overhand punches he lost his composure and stopped using it. Phutong looked pretty impressive there though, Angelov was a much taller and seemingly younger opponent and he still beat him.

he used to be buff and all that. that guy is so old and fat now. he shouldnt even be fighting ne more.

buff? he was small and recently gained weight. If he retires thats even less recognizable fighters that country has.
