it was posted on the underground by a well known troll, then taken up by several two-bit mma 'news websites' as a real story using the thread as a 'source'. Then, the NY daily and TMZ have copied their stories from those sites. TMZ says 'confirmed' in their headline but then in their story they say 'to be confirmed'....

in the meantime, the UG ahs taken down the story and moved the original thread because they rrealise that 'bad information' is being put out and may be a troll job. The other sites have yet to react.

there is a good chance this is a troll job gone wild. Sherdog is being responsible and 'legit' (unlike the above sites) by waiting for proper confirmation.
