And LOL at the RNC part. But threw may be a bit much credit. Thru would be more on par.
Best Jericho character ever, was in WCW, he had played the prototypical Linoheart Chris Jericho babyface for a long time, then all of a sudden he started losing matches, and couldn't win a match, he would throw tantrums after the matches, and it slowly evolved to the point, where he had enough and started cheating to win. It was during this period, that he did some of his best work with Eddy as they were both midcard heels, and would do ridiculous stunts in the ring, to get heat. It eventually evolved to the point, that he started bringing out the ring crew guy (Festus?) and even got that guy over as a heel. Jericho is genius as a smart ass, cheating, coniving heel. He could probably even parlay it into success as a cheating face in a manner a la Eddy Guerrero in "Lie, Cheat, Steal"

I think the Jericho personal security was Ralphus or something like that. That shit was classic.

Interesting conclusion.

I do think that sometimes he is excited or winded from body shots. He has a huge drive to win - and when he sees an opening he puts everything he has into it.
