Dont get too excited. THey will just reuse WWE torsos, MMA glove, Rocky boxing shorts and Jimmy Snuka feet molds for every figure.

Nigel lives in the States now, I think.

Lies. Jannetty jumped through it like a coward to get away from Michaels.

At the press conference also expect Dana to announce that with the help of McMahon, who has extensive connections in the New York State Athletic Commission, they were able to get the UFC sanctioned in New York, and plan on having a show sometime in the winter at Madison Square Garden. That is all I have right now.

If Vince is in any way involved, this place is going to shit itself.

Never will happen. Why would Lorenzo and Frank sell the company? They're making lots of money off of it. Plus, WWE was already in talks with a MMA org to buy it (Pride) but Vince drew out saying something like the sport would never last.

Apparently he looked into buying the UFC when Bob Meyrowitz was selling. Sanctioning in New York would be pretty damn big news for MMA though.

Sorry I've been away guys - that raw sucked, but the Highlight Reel was a really good segment that they did that really made Jericho come off as an evil heel.

So, I'm listening to Live Audio Wrestling, and Dave Meltzer was on. He brought up a few interesting points about the whole million-dollar giveaway. Vince is trying to get more people to watch wrestling, but if you think that maybe the ratings go up 3/10ths of a point - the value in that would be maybe 100K. So he's paying a million dollars for something worth a tenth of it.
As well, he'll do it maybe 3 weeks, so that's 3 million dollars. That's about how much Flair earns in a year. Instead of using it to get someone like Sting for a year who'll really prop the ratings, he's blowing it in three weeks where the ratings will drop back down. Instead of spending it on talent or development territories, he's blowing it. And people backstage are really starting to worry that Vince has lost it.
