they need to let Jericho come off looking stronger....i know heels are supposed to used low blows and stuff but to let that stick boy HBK whoop on him everytime is making him look weak. He was the first Undisputed champ for gods sake

Of course. He was a local celebrity in Hawaii. I watched him compete in "The Eddie" contest in Waimea several years ago. He nailed a 25+ footer cleanly which was the ride of the day.

Not me. I never registered thinking the whole thing was bogus.
BTW. Anyone hear the latest rumor that Vince and Dana (along with some investors) are buying UFC from the Fertitas?
Thoughts?

Somebody at another forum wrote this:
From a very reliable source, rumor has it that a group of investors led by Dana White have agreed in principle to purchase the UFC from Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta for an undisclosed amount. Included in this investment group is WWE's Vince McMahon who will now own a minority stake in the company. They also have plans on taking the company public by years end.
At the press conference also expect Dana to announce that with the help of McMahon, who has extensive connections in the New York State Athletic Commission, they were able to get the UFC sanctioned in New York, and plan on having a show sometime in the winter at Madison Square Garden. That is all I have right now.
Holy Shit

I don't think they really get punished after being banned in general
Chavo was banned and then got teh ECW title
Morrison was banned then got the tag titles
teh only person who really suffered I think was Kennedy

That's putting it lightly Hawk.
As far as Vince buying the UFC, I'll believe it when I see it. He didn't help get MMA regulated in NY, that was due to MMA fighters (the biggest being Matt Serra) lobbying for it's regulation.
The whole million dollar mania thing worked. I know of one person who never watches RAW anymore who watched almost all of it.
Ever since the Jeritron 5000 debuted, I've been waiting for Jericho to smash someone's head into it. Sad part is is that it was just a piece of cardboard with candy glass.

chknhawk, Jakks signed with the UFC to produce action figures for them. Expect them to reuse the Rocky shorts and Snuka feet mold often.
