Ok guys, my wife watches wrestling with me and she just made a prediction that was plausible enough, that I wanted to run it by you guys, and see what you think.

She thinks that at the upcoming draft, Jeff Hardy will be drafted to the ECW brand, where he will win the ECW heavyweight title. This does several things, it should bring ratings to ECW, and it gives Jeff an oppurtunity to tote one of the big three straps, and see how he handles the reponsibility. If he does well, he can be promoted to SD or Raw and get his title shot on those brands. So, what do you guys think? Does it sound like a possibility?

BTW, I'm not looking for any Hardy Hate, please if you don't want to address the theory, don't bother posting, I'm just looking for an inteligent discussion on upcoming WWE programming. If any of you have any other predictions, let's hear them.

it would make sense for them to do that, but if it makes sense then the chances of the wwe doing it are not very good

Winning the ECW strap would be a big step with little risk as it's kind of on par with the US/Intercontinental titles in terms of big picture significance, yet still a world title that would put him a bit higher and maybe draw some fans to ECW. I really don't see how they can ever put the 2 big straps on him with two strikes already. As over with the fans as he is, that doesn't seem like a risk Vince would ever take. Pretty good theory though. Your wife obviously pays way more atention than I do to come up with something like that.

The strongest neck question, I'll take a guess and say Ken Patera. I saw an old strongman contest years ago and he was in it. I mean, considering he was a short, stocky guy, but not like they look now, he was amazingly powerful. I remember they lifted like a 200 pound keg over their heads with the fluid fluctuating. Sounds like a good idea,but I've kinda thought of the ECW title as a bit below the IC and US title,I use to think of its value below the two big titles on raw and smackdown or close to when big show had it,but it droped in value with John Morrison winning it,and even CM Punk then Chavo,where I thought of it as now just a replacement for the cruiserweight title.Kane though has it now and hes a firm mid carder and already well established and its looking like getting back to IC and US title status.
