I think you are right about Lewis.

Bobo refused to accept the title as Rogers wrestled with an injury. Same storyline when Bruno beat Rogers for the NWA title. (Yes Bruno won the NWA title, sort of)

2 a reporter gave him the nickname Strangler because he reminded the old time reporte of Evan "Strangler" Lewis.
