Wow, a Dory Funk, Jr. fan. Dory Funk is one of the most underrated wrestlers ever. In the ring, in terms of wrestling, I always thought Dory was better than Terry. I almost put him in my list over Sammartino since I had Sammartino in the 70s as well. Actually, Dory over Sammartino isn't too bad considering I did have Sammartino over two decades.

No love for Steamboat from the 80s. I'm no big expert, so I can't really make a true list.

My bad, I meant to put Steamboat in when I was thinking of the Steamboat/Savage match and put Savage in their by accident.

In a Bret Hart shoot I downloaded last night and put on DVD, he said that Wrestlemania 2 was supposed to have a match with him and Ricky Steamboat, but they scrapped it for Hercules. I never knew that. I wonder how good the match could have been

I'd add Angle and Guerrero on those lists.

Guerrero and Benoit could be interchangeable on my list for the 90s but Angle doesn't belong in the 90s' He had less than one wrestling year in the 90s. Maybe for a 2000s or something.

It wouldn't have been that good.
It would have suffered from time constraints and not been allowed to be as good as it could have.
They did work together at the Boston Garden in a televised match after they found out WM2 wasn't in the cards for them, and Steamboat told Bret, "Lets show them the match they could have had."
Its widely available, I reccomend it highly.

Good point Saku. I wasn't thinking about that.

Has anyone seen the Billy Jack Haynes interview? Apparently, the guy is a total nut. He tells stories of going to get a gun to shoot Vince Mcmahon, being physically abusive to Jim Crockett, and all sorts of shit. It really makes you wonder how lucky McMahon is to be alive, considering he's stepped on the toes of some real psychos and roid freaks.
