Do the people at CW honestly believe that Smackdown is so different from their other shows and so repulsive to their main audience that it doesn't have a spot there even when it is one of their highest ranked shows? I really don't think they're losing viewers because of SD and I don't think eliminating it will bring in any new ones...

Smackdown doesn't bring in advertising money despite being the consistently best rated show on the network. That's the bottom line.

95% of TV shows are geared towards women and the remaining 5% is sports programming, UFC and wrestling really.

A show like Reaper would probably be picked up by another channel, maybe one of the cable networks like FX or USA.
