Is Judo underrated?

People always talk about BJJ, Muay Thai and Wrestling as best displine for MMA but what about Judo? #1 fighter in the world Fedor's main displine is Judo along with other great fighters. Especially in UFC Judo is not talked about much, Karo is only one seems to use in UFC but in Pride many Judo guys show some awesome Judo moves. I personally think Judo is very important for take down and balance. Something must be learned for elite fighters.

Judo and Greco Roman are both underrated with their takedown/throwing ability.

no its not. Fact remains that very few people have been able to adapt Judo to an mma format. It's just how the style is. Its just too gi-dependant to have it be a real staple in an MMA org that doesnt allow the GI.

I think it is. I think it would help take down defense as well by reversing take downs.

What? You are not being logical here. I am not talking about Fedor drinkis Vodka so every fighter should drink Vodka to be a great fighter. Fedor is a Judoka, he uses Judo technique very well in the fight to take opponent down and get into favorable position. His grappling is based on Judo which makes him very dangerous in clinch or on the ground.

ballet would make you flexible as heck, they are have good isometric-kind of strength/endurance too... i'm pretty sure someone thats done ballet for a long time would be awesome at BJJ or another grappling art
