I got it. You were a pencil pusher and an armchair warrior!!!!
Thats great.
Don't ever talk shit about those who were on the frontline because YOU don't have any clue what we have done.
We kill the enemy and search their bodies. We find documents and other pertinent info, we send to you so you can translate it and write a report that gets collected to publish a current intel report for all appropriate units in the region.

No, actually that's not how it works at all. If it makes you feel somewhat important to think that though, then I won't take that dream away from you.

Lubaolong, the reality of the situation is that YOU, actually, don't know what you're talking about. You like to think that you are so special, yet you are but one of twenty-thousand linguists in the military.
That number is the Army alone, excuse me.
I did, however, find this gem:
"Compounding the problem of military retention is the lure of pay in the civilian sector: median pay for a contract linguist with a Secret clearance comes to $40,000, compared to the base pay of $22,532.40 for an E-4 linguist with over four years of service. The average civilian contract linguist with a Top Secret clearance receives $62,000 per year..."

That's a joke. I made more than that as a Sergeant in a Force Co...
So, why do you think you are somehow better than anyone else?

Oh....then I must have imagined all the times I actually did it or all the times I was briefed on intel reports before I performed a pre-combat inspection.
Why don't you inform us on how it's done.
What branch of the military were you with? What unit? where were you stationed?
go ahead and look it up.....we'll wait.

I've also found links offering jobs in Iraq for civilians who can speak and write and translate Arabic, that pay the EXACT same as jobs that anyone in a Marine Corps grunt unit could get with Blackwater...
I again have failed to recognize your importance...

That was actually funny.
But only because I posted it first, making fun of you in the War Room.

Scratch that previous post of mine...
That Arabic translator was for a 365 day tour in Iraq, with a 2 week vacation. Compared to a 6 month tour of 4 months on with 2 months off with Blackwater.
To quote Pat Bateman, I'd like to say, "You aren't too terribly important."
