I understand the implementation of a liguist, but I have a hard time validating most of your claims.
I can't understand how you could speak in such a way to a fellow servicemember and I think your statement about people who join the military is bullshit.
What unit were you with and what kind of military experience did you have? Let's see if you can lie to me........

I worked with translators a couple of times, and I also had some intel guys attached a few times as well. I got to know all of them very well.
What is funny is that this guy is going around saying all of this crap about how important he was to the military, but anyone who has ever worked with a 'terp would say otherwise.
They are nothing special. All they do is go to DLI and learn X language, get attached to platoons that need someone to interpret, and basically take a backseat role in everything that happens during the mission.
They aren't even really part of the mission, and you probably know this as well as I do.
I guess that really depends on the 'terp though, as we had a guy that was really good to go and was all about being one of the boys...
Whatever, the kid feels the need to come on the internet and pretend to be someone that he's not, and when questioned about his "fancy" claims, responds with inflammatory BS that is only meant to patronize and show contempt.

Lower Class - maybe as far as money goes, but they are in no way less quality people than anyone else, and many time people who don't make that much money are the hardest working, and most caring people in this country.
College Ambitions - many of the people who enter the military are using to gain the means to go to college, where it would other wise not be possible. Further, the military can be a lucrative and fulfilling career in and of itself.
No desire do do something big in life - I would say protecting the freedom and liberty of every citizen in this country is no small task, and shouldn't be trivialized by spoiled brats such as yourself (at least based upon what I've gathered about you).
Below average intelligence - some of this countries most intelligent people enter and serve in the military. Sure, there are some people who aren't Einsteins, but there are people in Med School, Law School, and Phd programs that aren't the most intelligent people either, but they have a nack for a certain type of learning.
Any way you slice it, you are an egotistical, megalomaniacal, braggart that believes the amount of material wealth one has is the sole determining factor of one's worth. I stand by my comparison of your attitude to that of every person featured on MTV's "My Super Sweet 16"
Keep dreaming that you can fill the extremely large void you feel deep inside with money and material possessions. One day you will realize you lived a trite and meaningless existence. If you are lucky enough to wake up sometime before you are on your death bed and realize what I am trying to say; you may actually realize what is truly valuable in this world.

Hmmmm. You mean the kids that kicked your ass when you were little? Is that why you have anger toward them? Did they kick your ass in the military too?
I grew up rough and in a broken home. I was poor and had to face things in life that most kids did'nt.
I've met people like you before. You think you are better than everyone right?
Oh yeah, going to college does'nt make you better than anyone. It merely shows that you committed yourself to education on a higher level and obtained a piece of paper that says you made good on your endeavor. Many people get jobs that have nothing to do with their degree.

That's right. Intel boys stay dead center during the patrol and rarely participate. The majority of the ones I met seemed like they did'nt understand our warrior mentality like we were cavemen. Most intel guys I worked with just rolled around and Identified weapon systems( back when the war started in 03)

Like I said, you know nothing about what you are talking about. You met a few interpreters that walk around and ask people if they wanted to drink water. I was never an interpreter. I never went to interpreter school. Interpreters can't hope of finding a translation job on the outside because they lack the necessary language proficiency. Again, I don't care how many kids you knew on the frontline. That isn't anything close to what I did. And please don't try to convince anyone you have any clue of what I've done.
