What are you arguing? His point was that Okami's asian heritage was no help to the UFC with it's marketing plans, which is correct. Nobody said anything about K-1's popularity.

The UFC had marketing plans for Okami?
nobody notified me...........
Oh!
was that why 4 of his 6 UFC fights were un-aired prelims?

Disappointed that Okami won't be fighting Silva for awhile, but him vs the Donger will be interesting. Looking forward to Dynamite.

His style if fighting combined with him having no roots here is what killed him in the U.S. Other fighters have done just fine like Anderson Silva who even though he beat Rich in his hometown still got cheers when he won because he fought a good exciting fight and he ko'd his opponent which Okami rarely does and only has done once in the UFC to Starnes.

i love watching Okami fight in the UFC. he had some slick trip takedowns, he shouldve finished Swick tho
