Your Current 205 and 183/185 Rankings
With the two events this weekend there have been some shifts in some peoples opinions of these two divisions (especially in the 183/185) . so i want to know what your rankings are now for each Division, preferably with reasons.
Edit: I better put mine up
Edit: i have realised my mistake about Chuck, to be honest i was being stupid and its pretty ridiculous to have Chuck at no.5 , I have given him a position he deserves. but the top 5 are still interchangeable in my mind.
205:
1. Silva can move down (obviously)
2.Shogun (Inactivity) needs to perform well in next to fights two not drop, may still retain place if he loses to Randleman.
3. Chuck Liddell can move up (possibly down but doubtful)
4. Arona (Inactivity) can move up if good against Overeem.
5. Little Nog
These 5 are pretty much interchangeable so don't read to much into it (and i'm not a PRIDE nuthugger).
6.Overeem (i feel he could be one of the best he he got good cardio)
7-9 are also quite interchangeable, but i don't see any of them getting to much higher.
7.Babalu
8. Rampage
9. Ortiz
183/185
1.Filho (could be amazingly Dominate at 183, especially if he improves his stand up)
2.Lindland, *Could Fall Quickly, Place not Sercure*
3.Franklin (still needs to be tested) *Could Fall or Rise Quickly, Place not Sercure*
4.Kang (if he wins the GP he goes much higher, especially if he beats Filho to do so)
5. Henderson (not quite what he used to be, still think he could beat franklin if he's on, Needs to bounce back) *Could Fall or Rise Quickly Place not Sercure*
6. Anderson Silva (switches with Franklin if he beats him)
I see 183/185 as a very unsecure and unstable Division with many fighters who can go back and forth.
I'm surprised not many have said Lindland, if he hadn't have been held back he could be UFC champ right now. Hendo has dropped alot (and not based just on his last fight) but could bounce back.I believe Filho and Kang are the Future of 183/185, and that Lindland and Hendo Could fall quickly as there age etc. becomes a factor, as does better challenges (for hendo) and not many challenges (for lindland) also affect there places. Filho, Knag Franklin and Silva places look safe.

185 pound division is not easy to pick so the bottom 5 picks could be flipped around some.
1. Rich Franklin
2. Matt Lindland
3. Paulo Filho
4. Dan Henderson
5. Anderson Silva
6. Jeremy Horn
7. David Loiseau
8. Denis Kang
9. Nathan Marquardt
10. Evan Tanner
I guess the honorable mention would be Kazuo Misaki, Phil Baroni, Minowa, Dean Lister, Yuki Kondo, Murilo Bustamante
I know 4 might seem a little low for Hendo, but even before his loss to a B level fighter, he wasn't really finishing his fights.

205 Pounds:
1. Wanderlei Silva
2. Chuck Liddell
3. Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua
4. Ricardo Arona
5. Anotio Rogerio 'Minotoro' Nogueira
6. Renato 'Babalu' Sobral
7. Tito Ortiz
8. Kazuhiro Nakamura
9. Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson
10. Alistair Overeem
Shogun drops from inactivity. I considered putting Chuck first, since I generally don't rate fights out of the weight class to help a fighter's ranking, and Babalu is as big a 205 win as anyone has recently.. but it felt wrong.
Arona stays at four despite inactivity and having lost twice in a row because those were against two unquestionably top three guys, and the victory over Silva still holds sway a year later. Minotoro with one more big win could surpass him, however.
Babalu doesn't slip much for having lost to one of the best, similarly, and his winning streak is still impressive, regardless that Shogun wasn't ranked when that fight took place.
I had trouble placing everyone from seven down, though I knew who would be there. I guess Lindland is a more impressive victory than over Cyborg, but Nakamura also beat Randleman and Igor while in that time Rampage's only worthwhile victory was Ninja.
Alistair's losses lately have been outside the weight class, barring against top five guys Shogun and Nog, so he manages to pull out the 10 spot. Forrest is very close, one good win from breaking in, but he hasn't had it yet.

You have Filho and Kang ahead of Franklin and your reasoning is that Franklin hasn't beaten any great fighters? Who the fuck have Filho and Kang beaten?
