From would be BEST fight to the WORST fight of the year

ok, first let me say how utterly disappointed and pissed I am at the way GSP vs BJ fight turned out. It was CRAP! from the beginning to the end. I mean, it was hyped up to the the best matchup and the best fight of the year, and OMG did it SUCK! The worst possibe outcome - GSP wasn't as explosive, neither standing up nor at the groud cuz he was poked in the eye right away. Although BJ landed some lousy jabs, he was BORING! on his feet and on the ground (BJJ my ass), NOTHING happend, no fancy submissions (EVEN ATTEMPTS?), and no decend ground and pound. UFC really let me down this time, from now on it's pride and only PRIDE for me, that says it ALL!!

OK, first off, the UFC is in no way responsible for the way that a match turns out. Secondly, GSP wasn't as explosive as possible because BJ was neutralizing him and equally BJ couldnt manage any submissions because of GSP's sub defense.

Put two great fighters together and sometimes they will both show why they are great, other times their skills will neutralize eachother.

I mean even Karo Parisyan did better against GSP, he was close to submitting Pierre in multiple times.

I'd rather rewatch this match than watch BJ vs GSP.

Worst fight of the year? You must be blind, high, or stupid.

IMO it was a very good fight, but I never expect a great fight just because there are two great fighters in it, because MMA doesn't work like that, it's all about styles, not just the caliber of fighter. We all saw how the opening round of Pride's MWGP turned out, it was very lackluster for the most part, and it had one of the best lineups ever in MMA.

What was one good thing that you saw in that fight? if you say the way the way GSP was taking him down and laying on him, you'd be right and you'd prove my point.
