I think whoever juices themselves up with Steroids should accept the risk as it comes. If you're a little boy and want to feel big, then go and take the easy way by using steroids.

I think MMA fighters like Bas Rutten exemplify what upcoming fighters want to become like . I look up to people like Bas and Fedor because they don't rely on pills to make them succeed, perseverance does.

Thread title: 100%, not more, not less...

Seriously: There are steroid users in the sport, it involves organized crime on many levels, it contains pretty disturbing traumas inflicted to the head and body, it demands very harsh training regimens and many aren't making enough to secure their old age.

Result: death from drug and alcohol abuse, suicide, murder, longterm injuries and suchlike is probably way higher than in most segments of the population.

it has nothing to do with juicing... well maybe a bit, but making a career out of fighting isnt going to lead to bad things later in life...

with that said, the average age of death for and NFL player is 56... looks like couture may still be fighting at that age, so whos to say what will become of mma...
