I have lots of love for Thiago Silva, The guy dumbies anyone in his path. Soon he'll be a top 5 LHW, I see a huge next fight for him. Look at his UFC highlight real already he damages people.
I was pretty hyped on Thiago myself. His guard passing *seems* phenomenal. But the fact that he almost got ko'd with some fairly telegraphed kicks made a lot of people suspect his standup. There has been a lot of hype-machine busts of late (sok, alexander) and I think people have become more leery of bandwagon jumping on, with good reason.
Ok just think about it. Jardine is suppose to be so great. Jardine beat Forrest and Liddel. But Jardine got his ass beat by Alexander. Who made Alexander his bitch? Thiago Silva. This guy has never lost. So what is the excuse for this guy getting no love?
I like thiago but I don't understand why the wont give him better competition already. Well they did try with Rashad so I guess the next match will be a top 10.
