You pretty much made it equal. You can switch it - you can say that Maia and Marquardt are on the bottom of MW division(from top contenders) and Jardine/Silva is #1 contender fight (after Shogun/Machida/Evans/Rampage) - because no one announced what Jardine/Silva winner gets, and same with the winner of Maia/Marquardt. Who are OFFICIAL contenders, we all know: winner of Rampage/Evans, and winner of Bisping/Hendo.

first off, there are now official number one contender matches. second off. Silva hasn't beaten anyone and when he finally gets put up against a contender he gets his ass whooped. Jardine is 6-4 in the ufc including a brutal ko loss to Houston Alexander. Marquardt on the other hand has only lost to Anderson and a controversial decision to Thales Leites. his rebound wins have come against Kampmann and Gouveia-top comp. and Maia has choked out all 5 of his ufc opponents. marquardt and maia are way ahead of the lhws
