Why is Jardine/Silva co main eventing over Maia/Marquardt
Doesn't make any sense. Two guys pretty much at the bottom of the lhw division (of the big contenders) vs. the number one contendership (after bisping/hendo) match at mw?

Good question. I didn't realize the jardine match was the co-main, that is a pretty dumb move IMO.

If this is true I don't get it.

It's because Jardine has a win over Chuck. That makes him a much bigger name in the eyes of average fans.

What a bullshit. Who is above them, except of 4 people - Rampage, Shogun, Evans and Machida?
They are coming from the losses of the fights, that DETERMINED #1 contenders.

And Maia/Marquardt fight dOES NOT determine #1 contender.
Hendo/Bisping is.

It doesn't make a difference to me personally, but if I were to replace it, it would be with the Marquardt fight.
