I think a lot of the hate comes from the fact that people feel a lot of these fighters haven't paid their dues, so to speak. Some of these guys are B, or even C, level fighters, and they get a chance to get a contract with the UFC. Meanwhile, there are better fighters toiling away in some crap organization, making $300 a night.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing these guy's abilities. I'm not a fighter, or even practice any form of fighting / MMA - I just love watching the sport. But that fact that some of these guys are just getting opportunities like this, when they may not have really deserved them, makes people mental. Along with the fact that some of them seemingly come out of nowhere and get hyped to no end makes it that much worse.

Example this real great post by a tufer, idiotic BS like this. The only one that actully has been tested is Joe, and his ass is 1-1. For some reason he never got easy ass style match ups or tufer vs tufer match ups.
how bout griffen vs ortiz?
how about diego vs diaz?
diego vs karo?
leben vs. rivera?
leben vs silva?

they are giving these guys harder and harder fights. just because they were on tuf, it does not mean they are bad.

the comment about kenflo fighting kit cope is stupid. he took kit cope down... he would lsoe in a standup fight no doubt...he cant take sherk down and i think sherk could take him standing...well see

But many of them haven't. Kenny Florian, Danny Abaddi, Matt Hammill, Josh Koscheck, Stephan Bonnar, Ross Pointon, Anthony Torres, Tait Fletcher, Josh Burkman, Luke Cummo, Rob McDonald, Brad Imes, Tom Muller, Mike Nickels, Jesse Forbes, Mike Stine. You get the idea.

There are also the PRIDE biggots who hate anything associated with the UFC.

PRIDE has a deeper talent pool, but to hate other organizations as a result makes no sense.

Dont leave Rashad out, I honestly think hes the best TUF LHW out there right now. Sure hes boring with his Lay N Pray all day stragtegy , but it has won him just about every single round in his career despite his opponent knowing what hes gonna do. He would def give Forrest a better fight than an injured Tito and I doubt Bisping has the size to roll with him.

I think if one TUF guy is overrated its Bonner. He won a very controversial decision over Bobby Southworth who was beaten very decisevely by Sam Hogar of all people. He followed that by winning yet another very controversial decision over Jardine before being thrown around like a rag doll by Rashad. In essence hes only gotten where he is today due to that one fight with Forrest, which though I'll give him credit for fighting his heart out but wasnt a really skilled contest as both fighters decided to just brwal all day rather than fight a tactical MMA bout.

I think the man has some tools; toughness, aggression, and heart but other than his somewhat decent boxing skills hes simply not a very skilled fighter

Well, I hate the TUF website cause they warned me for flaming Noah and banned me forever in IP address hell for calling their moderator an ignorant moron. No sense of humor! lol. IMO the first season was the only one worth much to me.

They are kind of like Punk fans who got pissed when Green Day started getting play on the radio station.

Or better yet, they are like comic book fans who get pissed that average people can go watch X-Men 2 without knowing what happened in comic book #875 in 1992.

I think the TUF stigma can be overcome. As another young undefeated gun, it doesn't seem that Bisping has the same blowback that Diego does. I think Bisping played it smart by not calling out Liddell like Diego called out Hughes. In the final analysis, I think Bisping will be the highest respected Tuffer...
