Why is everyone saying Prides HW fighters have been exposed?

This argument is being taken out of context... let me put some reality back in the ufc nuthuggers.

1) When the argument of prides hw divison being superior was at its strongest, the ufc hw champion was Tim fucking sylvia. Even ufc nuthuggers were ashamed to admit this.

2) There was no randy couture in the hw division. Most ufc nuthuggers had no idea who gabrial gonzaga was. In fact the ufc nuthuggers who knew of gonzaga thought he was a can because of his fight with kevin jordon. Blame this for ufc trying to push its fighters with the look and charmisa (vera, kongo) vs fighters will skill gonzaga.

3) Now that CC has lost he is a pride fighter. This is the same guy the ufc nuthuggers jizzed imself over and declared it the end of pride around december welcmong him as a ufc figher. Some loyal fans all of you are.

4) Since when is fujuita and heath herring the barrier for prides hws. if anything hte pride hw division strength was in the big 3 (nog, cc, fedor) as they were believed to be superior over anyone else. Two of thes fighters now fight in the ufc.

5) Who gives a shit? Are you guys arguing that fedor sucks? If you are, you are a retard or just trolling the boards. Pride is owned by ufc now so who gives a shit who fights for what organization now. They will all fight each other or get their chance to fight the top fighters now. Cheer for who you want to win. End the debat already.

If anything after last night, we finally get to see cc shut up sylvia (which ufc and pride fans both want to see). A new fighter has emerged who might give fedor a run for his money.

Some of the stuff your saying is true but it can go both ways. you said the UFC huggers said CC is a Pride fighter after he lost. Well in all fairness the Pride huggers said that He would clean house and that would prove Pride>UFC. It didn't happen that way so I see alot of what those people say to be accurate and true.
UFC is not >Pride but all the huggers that said Pride>UFC have to deal with the beating they are taking because the beatings they delt out for the past two years saying Pride's HW would kill UFC's.
Understand why they are saying it before you think it's because they think UFC>Pride.

You could be right but 1 huge win doesn't make him unstoppable like alot of people now believe.

People create all this hype after 1 fight then when that person loses they call him overrated or say he was exposed. Just take some time and let him keep fighting.

Amen to that. He dominated all aspects of the fight. He landed some good punches and a head kick KO standing, and also unleashed some brutal elbows from the guard. At the same time, he escaped with minimal damage to himself.

Gonzaga's win can be chalked up to a couple of things...

1) Cro Cop coming in underprepared for what he thought was a guy who wasn't going to strike.
2) The elbows that cut him open. That was the first time he has been hit with an elbow and I think it fucked with him.
3) Gonzaga's size and strength.

Pride's HWs aren't being exposed...it was just one fight. And herring went the distance with Imes. That in itself is a show of what he has become.

I think once Nogueira decimates his opponent and CC comes back and tools his next opponent the tide will turn again.

You make several good points, however at this point, it only really seems like the whining of a Pride fanboy still not able to console himself over DSE's financial failure.

I always resented when people just assumed fighter A would crush fighter B. Looking at some of the results from this year's fights, it really confirms the phrase ''That's why they fight the fights'' instead of generalizing.
