Interesting point....not sure I'd want to just hover there.....
Someone needs to start chopping at his legs....who was that fighter that didn't want to trade wtih tank and kept throwing leg kicks until he went down...?
Pedro Rizzo? I don't think he didn't want to trade with Tank, he just fights that way with everybody. Very cautious and counter attacks. Very much like Liddell.
babalu may have had too many emotions going into the fight...he probably thought about the last fight and wanted to avenge is knock out by knocking out chuck...he tried to out strike chuck when babalu isn't even a striker he is a wrestler and jiu jitsu guy...who knows what happens for him now...but he wont ever be winning a title while chuck is champ
I agree. Chuch has so much experience on the big stage - main events and babalu was just nervous and got caught. I felt bad for him as he seems like a cool guy.
I think that the comments about being KO'd by Chuck got to him to the point of being so angry as to want to beat Chuck at his own game to redeem himself when the real factor should of been beating Chuck period by utlizing his advantages.

I really wanted this fight to go the distance or at least go past the 1st round but oh well.
I know the feeling I say hats off to Chuck for the win, great job... but at the same time I want a rematch so that I can finally watch the match & say "Wow! two guys obviously at their best using all their skills! that guy really gave it his all" no matter who wins, I don't think either match had enough time to establish either fighter's skill.
