Why does Fedor not ko people

When I see him fight he looks like he has incredible power in his punches yet he never seems to have that 1 punch ko. Why is that?

Because he likes to pound people's faces in in stead of ko'ing them. The last time I checked it was a pretty successful strategy.

His first MMA fight was a knockout... his fight against Chris Haseman was technically a point-out but I think he was pretty out of it. I think it's really a pointless exercise to debate this KO/TKO difference, it's an artificial distinction in my mind.

Maybe, just maybe, that the fighters he's fought have great defense.

But just maybe.

He wants them to remember the demoralization.

He enjoys making people suffer. If he punched people as hard as he could there would be too many deaths. It would hurt the sport and put him out of business.

No one wants to see a human head explode! Not good for MMA.
