Why do people want vitor to fail so badly?

No matter what this guy does the detractors never stop coming, we know your out there you don't have to keep poking your heads out there and trying to take away from anything he brings to the table. Just keep liking every fighter thats in the top3 in the world and let us true fans of his enjoy what he does. He's never been anything but completely humble, but you want to rank on him and promote people like Josh"always on stage" Barnett. I don't get it it seems like some people just must hate someone and why it has to be him i'll never understand.

Agreed.

The success fans on Sherdog are running wild, and while loving success, they dont have the ability to respect a fighter.

Vitors sister was kidnapped and murdered, about three of his trainers died and people still bash him.

1. Many guys dislike Vitor.

2. Vitor has many dumb fans (Many are also OK, and loyal true fans), but is this a reason to bash Vitor?

no one hates vitor at all (mostly), but some people are just saying that unless he shows something different this time. this 'comeback' is no different than his other 400 comebacks.

vitor is a great fighter but he cant make that leap from great fighter to champion and it shows in his fights. he will always be dangerous to anyone that isnt a top contender but loses the big fights (look at his recent losses, all top guys).

he even gave a few top fighters a good fight (ortiz, liddell, overeem) until the first round ends, that is.

I think it may be true that some people hate his fans, but why?
Is it because they have no loyalty and jump from ship to ship and are amd that they can't stick with a fighter whos name isn't Fedor. Or do they get pleasure out of bashing someone who has had some of the worst things that can happen to a person happen to him. People must hate his fans because I don't see how you can hate him. But if thats the case don't bash and shut him down, do it to the fans if thats who your so angry at.

Most of the MMA fans I know love Vitor. The problem is we have this thing called a brain that allows us to process the fact that while Vitor is an amazing fighter he isn't strong enough mentally. He runs through guys like Eastman, Rea, and Takahashi like their nothing, but land a few punches or score a few takedowns and he just gives up.

It's fine that you think that he isn't mentally strong but I think he's doing just fine for having his sister kidnapped, murdered, and someone who was a huge inspiration in his life carlson gracie dying. Plus if you don't like him or don't think he is mentally tough enough just stay off his tip.

Yes, Vitor has the skills but is not mentally strong enough to be champ in PRIDE or the UFC. (Well, maybe in the UFC, Liddell is old and if he reires...) Still not a reason to hate him. The worst thing is that many haters dont even realise that he has great skills. EDIT: And like omoplate said, its not even his fault that hes mentally weak.

I will root for Vitor no matter what happens, if other people wanna jump from ship to ship they can do that but if they do that they are not in the position to bash anyone.
