You can throw them but you have to set them down softly. All major suplexes are illegal, you never wrestled or you would know that.

there isnt 'freestyle' wrestling in high school unless its intramural. in high school its called 'folkstyle'. this is mainly in the US. I'm not 100% posotive but i'm pretty sure only the US practices 'folkstyle' while other countries only practice 'freestyle'.
folkstyle (high school and college) you cant slam - you have to come down to a knee first and then the oponent can hit the mat
freestyle and greco- no slams like rampage jackson does but suplexes and throws are legal
there you guys go!

the rule in folkstyle is that you can lift a guy up or throw him but that you have to have control of him as he lands -i.e. you have to "place" him down, not slam him. things like lateral drops are allowed though like what matt hughes does to jeremy horn in that Jiu Jitsu video thing.

BJJ goes better for gorundgame, and wrestling also offers tools to get the fight into the mat. So, judo seems boring and meaningless to many. Just my 2 cents.
Ps. wtf is karate doing in the striking? ;)

I was thinking like that too, but watch the GSP instructional, its actually good stuff, i've added it in my striking and its been working awesome in my sparring.

Thank you for clearing that up for us.
The whole philosophy in Judo is way different than wrestling. There probably are all the same throws in wrestling as Judo but thats because they are both grappling. If someone throws a punch is it a boxing punch, a thai punch or a karate punch? The difference is in wrestling you concentrate on leg takedowns and simple head and arm type throws. The high school and college wrestling coaches who know complex Judo throws just don't exist unless they either crosstrain in Judo, read books and apply what they read or have travelled the country and studied different forms of wrestling. Mr. Nelson at Digrassi high isn't gonna be teaching Billy any Judo throws guys and thats a fact. Too much of a risk of injury.
Do they teach you how to post your arm and break your fall in wrestling? No they don't need to. All you tuf newbish mma scientist wannabes think you know more than you do.

That's only if you hit a high level single or a double and lift your oppenent off his feet, you can't slam or "spike" him on the mat. Judo throws are legal and you can toss someone as hard as you want.
Obviously, you never wrestled, or you only wrestled for like one year, otherwise you'd know THAT.

Alot of people hate on Judo becouse they cant do it. Judo hurts and people dont like to hurt. Yes it hurts much more then Wrestling. Until you learn to fall every class is a test of your ability to deal with pain. Most people dont last that long. Wrestling, Football, Jujitsu, all are ruff sports but they dont come close to Judo.
