Why is Dante Rivera vs. Matt Riddle on the main card?

While I agree that this shouldn't be on TV, I find the backstory on this fight hilarious.

Rivera vowed to retire if he loses to Riddle, so Riddle bought him a retirement plaque that he plans on giving to him if he wins.

Stupid fucking decision; especially considering Dante was one of the most boring fighters on the show with Riddle lacking the talent to make this something other than a lay and pray fiesta.
