I have no problem with fans of any fighter.
It's the biased nuthugger fans I can't stand. The type that would make an excuse when their fav fighter loses, even when they lose CONVINCINGLY (See CC vs. GG or GSP vs. Serra).
Also these nuthuggers hate anyone that doesn't think that their fav fighter is GOD or P4P the greatest.

I agree with you except in the case of the GSP-Penn fight there were apparently 2 incompetent judges scoring that fight as opposed to the usual one.

BJ is not my hero. He's not my favorite fighter by any means, his personality isn't all that terrific, and I'm not sure I'd even say I'm a fan of his. But I do know what my eyes tell me and that is that he is probably the best P4P fighter in the UFC - better than GSP, and better that night. Maybe if GSP even came close to hurting BJ at any point in the fight I'd feel differently.

Because he started in the UFC... and won. He then loses to Pulver in the UFC and has a draw with Uno.

He then goes to KOTR and defeats Gomi.

Gomi is one of the 4 or 5 fighters that Pride fanbois use as an example in their "pride is god, and UFC is the devil" arguement. According to them, Gomi can not be beat by ANYONE outside of pride...

Sherdog started about the time that Pride hit it's peak, so it is no surprise where all the Pride fandom came from.. but it does get old.

It is one thing to like Pride (like most of us do/did) but another to hate all other orgs and fighters because they are not pride.

BJ is awesome, and he destroyed Pride's champ in the LW class.

Thus, most sherdoggers look down upon BJ fans. It is jealousy.
