it's not so much about most likely tho cuz most likely gomi, kid, and sakurai will not come to the ufc. but anyways imo Penn would take over the ufc lw division again.

your thread is basically asking who the best LW in the world is. and frankly, that person is STILL gomi. bj penn is not a lightweight anymore and won't ever fight at LW again. if you're gonna include him, you may as well put gsp, rich franklin, and goddamn AA in there.

Would you vote for AA? I bet he would look like someone off of America's top model if he cut to 155. Hell he would have to shave all bodyhair to make that weight.

Why the hell is Gomi on here?

I voted Penn...I hold Sherk, Fisher, and Hominick in high reguards though

BJ is the one that has the best papers. The only way I see BJ loose is by gassing out or submission

I really think Sherk could win this one. Sherk is simular in style to Hughes, but I think that in a rematch Hughes would beat Penn. I see Sherk taking down Penn and if avoiding a submission, Sherk could grind out a TKO or decision via GNP.

Sherk is my favorite fighter, but I would love to see him face Penn at 155 nomatter who wins. Either way it will be some serious action. Sherk has no quit in him, he would have kept fighting GSP, the fight was stopped on account of a broken nose. Props to GSP, but Sherk is a Warrior, he would never have stopped.
