Wand or Page. Machida is deserving but not marketable and that what it takes to get a title shot, right Brock?

The winner of Machida vs Thiago Silva, for sure, just look the numbers, especially if Machida wins the fight.

I'd like to see Machida get a shot. He deserves his chance. Let Rampage try to take the belt from him.

I 100 percent absolutely guaruntee that the winner of Page/Wand will get the next shot. The reason being that this fight is happening before the Machida vs. Silva fight. If Machida vs Silva would have happened at UFC 89 as scheduled, then it might be a different story.

Machida and Silva are both still young and "relatively" unknown/unpopular compared to Wand, Page, Franklin, Hendo. I think the UFC will look to capitalize on the older more in prime talent such as Wand and Page and save the Machida's and Silva's for another time.

Summary: Wand/Page gets next title shot. Machida vs Silva gets second shot or the loser of Forrest/Evans.

Why Machida? He has 5 fights with the UFC , all were wins but 4 of them decisions. And only one fight has been against a credible fighter ( Tito ). He is not exciting to watch and frankly I dont believe he is as good as he is so OVERHYPED to be. I dont think he is going to beat Thiago anyways I just dont understand why people think he is so great. He has yet to face tough competitors. When he does he will lose.

i think the winner of wanderlei vs rampage should get it.
and the next one should be given to t.silva/machida immediately.

but what is much more important to me, is that more fights between the top contenders in lhw-division should happen.
too bad that tournaments still have kind of the pride-brand on it and ufc doesnt like that.....

I think the UFC will give the TS to the fighter with the most explosive last fight.
HAHA I read "TS" as threadstarter. That's the fight I wanna see.

What numbers ? That one of them will still be undefeated after the fight ? Who cares? Look at who they have fought. I could be undefeated fighting those fighters. Winner of Rampage vs. W. Silva deserves and should get the next shot.

Ok i just thought of something totally different....

Rampage/Wand will get the next shot (I am leaning towards Wand i think).

Then I expect ANDERSON SILVA to get the next shot after he beats Chuck in February. Then you can have a mega fight between Forrest/Wand/Page/Evans vs Anderson sometime in the summer.

Chuck = NO SHOT vs AS. Then this would also make chuck the gate keeper of the LHWs.

This scenario also sets up more big top contender type fights in the 205. Imagine a Wand vs Forrest fight (3 or 5 rounds). Machida vs Page. Silva vs Silva? Evans vs Wand/Page?

The 205 is the best division in the sport, and certainly in the UFC. There are dozens of potentail amazing fights. You could literally put the top 15 names in a hat and pull out any 2 names and have a compelling fight.
