Hughes and Penn might be able to, but theres still more chance of Diaz taking them to decision. Diaz is one rugged kid.

I think Hughes might have the best chance of subbing Diaz.
Penn is trickier than Hughes on the ground, but I think Diaz would see the subs comming anyway and defend.
Against Hughes, he would see the subs comming, but att the same time take a couple of hard rights, then Hughes might be able to overpower him to a submission, like a kimura perhaps.

I think you underestimate the strength difference, GSP is tall and very musculer.

Diaz is lean and tall, Sherk was shoveing Nick into the fence and Nick was useing technique to stop the takedown as well as a very low stance.

GSP took Sherk down easily.

If Nick is as flexable as Miller then maybe not, but if he is stiffer then I could see GSP useing his superior wrestling to get side control and Kimura the shit out of Nick.

Maybe not useing technical sups like armbars/kneebars but a power move like a Kimura would be tough for Nick to defend against.

Same goes for Hughes, especially after being softened up by the Elbows of Hughes and GSP.

GSP is actually a new brown (within the lsat two months), but he did compete in ADCC, so you cant just rely on the belt. in a pure grappling match until sub, i say diaz would win, but in an ADCC match, GSP would win a dec
