The future of UFC

i will just give some opinion on where MMA is going

UFC

Heavyweight

Curent Champ = Tim Sylvia 22 - 2 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw)

everyone know that the Heavyweight division has bean a weak point of the UFC for years
there champ right now is not getting any credibility at all by the old school fan's
even if he has a pretty good record... we can't compare what he did like fedor in pride
but still he could be a dominating champ for the ufc because of there lack of really good fighter on that weight class

most dangerous contenders :
Andrei Arlovski (already lost twice to him)
Jeff Monson
Brandon Vera
Kongo

Lightheavyweight

Curent Champ = Chuck Liddel 19 - 3 - 0

The lightheavyweight is by far the face of the UFC since the heavyweight division is so weak
and right now they have a champ that have credibility overseas since he defeated some of pride fighters and is on a major winning streak. ... but now chuck is stuck in a organisation where he don't have anything else to prove or fight, his last chalenger was a fighter that he already faught and already ko'ed ... his next fight will probrably be tito ortiz a guy he alread got a KO victory over, or wanderlei silva a champ from a other organisation... TUF starts like bisping and griffin should be next in line but the UFC should wait or else they might have a other nate quarry Ko and lose a lot of money cause those fighter have already huge fan base because of the TV show
the UFC better get some serius contender that the Hardcore fan know cause there headliner won't have anybody able to headline with him ...

most dangerous contenders :
Tito Ortiz (lost once and has to win again't ken or else this will be ugly)
Forest Griffin
Quinton Jackson (got a victory over chuck) (fighting for other organisation)
wanderlei silva (pride fighter) with the cold with pride might not happen
Bisping (if they don't bring him too fast has a lot of pentential)
Babalu (ouf of the title picture if chuck is still champ)
Rashad Evans (in a little wille but 8-0 and is a good start)

Middleweight

Curent Champ = Rich Franklin 20 - 1 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw) ( 1 NC )

Franklin with is total domination of david loiseau and pretty mutch all the contender in his weight class is nearly stuck in the same probleme liddel has. UFC sign Anderson Silva to come over to fight him cause they don't have anyone to fight him... soon TUF stars will be ready to fight him but none of them seam to have yet the skills to beat him
leben got destroyed by silva, swick has to beat loiseau to be consider a threath to franklin
but at least franklin din't have match with all of those new faces so the devision will probrably continue to grow but franklin if he can beat silva should reign supreme for a wille

most dangerous contenders :
Anderson Silva
Matt Lindland (still fight in the USA)
Nathan Marquardt
David Loiseau (lost once)
Leben (still a impresive record)
Swick (his only defeat is leben has to avenge that )
Evan Tanner (has no chance for a title shot exep if he beat all TUF guys and that franklin lose to someone )

Welterweight

Curent Champ = Matt Hughes 39 - 4 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw)

a other champion that is ruling his devision but his time might be number... matt is not getting any younger, and he has some big chalenge to come... BJ Penn the man who already beated him once ... is he his black sheat ... his vernon forest ... the next PPv will tell us ,but if he can go through BJ he still has George st-pierre who a lot of people where giving the title too with his awsome winning streak "that include BJ" some new commer are comming up as well Diego love him or hate him has some ability ... his he ready to test himself with the best i think so will he win he has his chance this is MMA everything can happen . Karo Parisyan with this strong showing againt's diego still is in the picture ... this devision is by far the biggest asset of the UFC

most dangerous contenders :
BJ Penn
GSP
Diego
KARO parisyan

Lightweight

Curent Champ = Kenny florian or shean sherk

the UFc is doing a good thing by briging this weightclass back some fighter are better fit to fights there and it's always good fast action... and since it's a new weightclass there is a lot of fight they can do .the champ would have at least 5 title defence with good contender
great move by the UFC but will the newbs still like the little guys ...

most dangerous contenders :
Yves Edwards
hominick
joe stevenson
Jens Pulver
Spencer Fisher

what do you think ?

how will the UFC continue to grow ? who should they bring in ... discuss

PS:sorry for the awful english hehe
i speak english faily squarly

Some of those people will never be champ, unless UFC markets them to get wins over not so great fighters to get a title shot and a random act of god lets them beat the current champ.

Take Bisping, Leben and Hominick out of the future champs list and it's not bad (aside from the obvious stupidity listing Rampage and Silva but not doing the same for any other weight class)

You forgot Spencer Fisher, Hermes Franca and Tyson Griffin in your Lightweight "dangerous contenders" list.

You cant expect Great fighters to come outta the woodwork every couple months to challenge for the title.

There can only be so many rematches for a title before fans lose interest.
