i recently watched something on spike tv and it was a preview to ufc 59 and they were interviewing tim sylvia and tim said that he considers himself the peoples champ because of all the love that he gets from his fans. is this guy serious? i think i see more hate on this site for him than any other fighter. anyone else see that?

To be fair, I never minded him.

In fact, after he KO'd Ricco I sorta liked him. Ricco got awful cocky when he won the belt.. and lazy.

But then Sylvia made the same mistake of getting all arrogant and braggish. I guess the belt does something to you lol.

I like Tim Silvia. He's humble and well spoken. He fights with all his heart all the time. He might not be the best fighter in the world but he is damn sure trying. Yes he made a mistake with steriods, but havn't we all done stupid stuff? I know I have.

I think AA is gonna kill him again, but I'm looking forward to the fight. He might not be one of my favorite fighters, but I don't have anything bad to say about him.
