Roid Tests in Pride
In the interview with Wanderlei posted today on sherdog they are talking about steroid tests in the UFC and Wandy says:
Silva: I believe it’s very good and I think they should be done, those tests. This is to keep legitimacy to the sport. In Japan they also do the same tests before and after the event. And this is the way it should be anyway.
I thought Pride didn't test for roids. Or is this new?

They do tests in Japan, but for stimulants and illegal substances, not steroids. Steroids aren't illegal in Japan, so they don't test for them.

Figures, thats why UFC is the best organization, they've caught like 5 roid abusers now. Pride is a bunch of roid no skilled freaks

lol that would be hilarious if he just admitted it in the interview. Silva is probably sweating bullets right now, trying to get the roids out of his system because the UFC busts him! haha |

Top 3 in the world don't use Roids. Never have used roids, and are all in Pride. Sylvia on the other hand has used roids. |

was thinking the same thing with regards to the threadstarter. i'd like to think that PRIDE does test for roids. but with hammerhouse on their roster, i would prolly say pride does not.

Lol how the hell would u know? Sylvia used roids because he gets no respect around here, not because lacks skills. He wanted to portray himself as a gladiator, thats why he aimed for a rock hard physique. It's understandable though, but as far as skills and athleticism go, Tim Sylvia is superior. |

Nobody knew or cared about who Tim was when he was on roids. Anyway I can tell your being sarcastic, have fun. |
