Who has better hands, B.J. Penn or Takanori Gomi?

Remember that epic "who has better hands GSP or BJ" thread? Well, it ended up in a dead split , most people saying BJ has better boxing while GSP has better leg kicks (obviously) and angles.

Well anyways...it's time for a Gomi/Penn debate...Who has better hands?

Personally, I think BJ has better hands, he knows how to slip in punches and counter well, and at the same time attack. No doubt Gomi has great set of hands too (very heavy, fast, good foot work, and killer haymakers.) however, I think if they ever fought again BJ would dominate on the feet like before.

Bj is faster and more accurate, but gomi has heavier hands.

depends which gomi we're talking about. 2004 shockwave where he beat pulver was the beginning of his focus on his boxing, which looked sharper every time he fought, throughout his bushido tournament fights and 2005 shockwave vs mach where he looked nearly unstoppable with his hands.

but i think in that period he neglected his ground training and after aurelio choked him out his standup hasn't looked as sharp. so right now, his boxing looks very much like it did when he fought penn the first time and penn looks alot better.

but penn wins this either way, both gomis get subbed quickly.

Gomi easily has better hands. I think BJ would beat Gomi again if they fought, but Gomi's hands are superior to Penn's.
