Can The UFC Please Hurry up With Lyoto Machida?

I'm getting very impatient with how in-active this guy is. Seriously? Where is the fucking push from Dana? This is why I don't think Dana is smart enough to run the UFC. He's sitting on and undefeated fighter who has impressive wins against good fighters. What's taking so long? If he's on another under card or fight night, I'll fucking scream.

Clearly you haven't seen him fight. He's a counter fighter, so that means the pace is always very slow. His last fight against Heath didn't get going until the 3rd round. He's a decision fighter, Dana doesn't like that. Plus its a huge chunk out of the PPV time to air a boring three round decision fight, thats more than likely why his fights never see the light of day. He's a good fighter though, his style is just patient.

Yes I have seen many of his fights, which is why I am waiting to see him fight better competition. You pretty much summed up Chuck Liddell's fighting style except for the decision part, and then you told me that Dana hates that style. Dana doesn't hate Chuck's style, and he gave Sylvia a couple of title shots with a similar style, so I don't think you really put much thought into your response.

Because he doesn't fit the mold of bald white guy with tribal tats decked in tapout swing from the fences.

Neither did Paulo Filho

God forbid a foreign fighter with talent beats up his ultimate boxer boys. We all know how upset he was when Anderson Silva destroyed THE BEST FIGHTER IN THE WORLD Rich Franklin.

He is slow and tactical, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Maybe its the timidness of his competition, which is why he should be fighting better opponents. Franklin tried to push the fight, and that was an exciting fight. Give Machida a guy like Jardine, Rashad, or Houston and i'm sure we will see fireworks. Those guys would not allow Machida to lay back, they would force him.

Lyoto pretty much will get booed in every fight he'll be in the UFC no matter how impressive his wins are. He dismantled his last two opponents, but it's a tough-sell when you have your paying audience is booing him every time he fights.
