I've been watching UFC for a while and i recently started watching Pride on FSN but the fights are years old so I was wondering how I could get into Pride because so many people say it is the superior brand Thanks

start with the Legacy box sets, 5 events for 15-20 bucks. cant beat it, gives you a history leson on all of the fighters, evolution of the rules, etc.

PPV's are expensive TV ... get a friend into MMA and tell him to order them for you

These are all good promotinos with great fights and fighters. Some of the greatest MMA matches ever were fought at small shows between two NO-NAME fighters who trained for months and poured their hearts out in the ring

ANyone who spouts off about "UFC is great pride sucks" or "PRIDE rules UFC is for losers" is not a true MMA fan.

Please go out support the sport buy as many DVD's of ANY EVENTS YOU CAN. I promise you will find gems in the rough.

I was at the show when melvin guiliard fought lee king to a draw - which was a GREAT FIGHT At a local bar in new orleans which held maybe 75 people.

I remeber watching Sean Sherk fight at a local show against Karo Parisyan. It lasted forever and finally Karo's corner threw in the towel. Everyone who was there knew that they were watching some future stars.

Just watch MMA, find a gym and start training if possible, you'll enoy MMA that much more
