He's in a tough spot....the best thing for him is to go 170 b/c he's just way too small for 185 and try to get a ton of fights under his belt before making an actual run up in the rankings. He's just very green right now. He's got a lot of potential but luck was on his side to help him win the show.

CB was a very good wrestler. It didn't affect Amir too much.

People get so touchy when the word luck comes anywhere NEAR the word submission.

The first fight with CB he was able to hang in there long enough to get the submission. Skill, heart, etc....

The finale CB probably spent a lot of time working sub defense. Once he had Amir on his back he could have taken his time and really picked his shots. Instead he made a rookie mistake of getting overzealous and Amir capitalized on it. If CB played it safe who knows what would have happened. That's what I mean by luck....he was lucky that CB went ape shit trying to GNP him.

I quess A. Silva is lucky every time he steps in the cage. I guess Fedor is just lucky every time he steps in the ring. This is a stupid way to think. I guess every time a fighter wins he is lucky.

i was impressed with amir and after seeing his first fight i called him to win the show. that kid is tough and he definately has some skills. he has a shot for a bright future in mma.

i just saw war machine at a bar on tuesday and he said hes expecting a return to the cage in oct. so im willing to bet hes fighting amir, just a guess, amir or cb dollaway
