Before lesnar can earn the right to fight Fedor he must first earn the right to be mentioned in the same sentence as Fedor. Lesnar needs to go at least 5-0 in his next 5 fights to do so.

I'd watch the fight but I wouldn't pay for it, but personally I think it's a waste of a good fight having Fedor open a can.

I'm a purist? Why thank you!

I agree, because of his size he'll win some fights but size and strength is not enough, just look at Bob Sapp. Sapp is a bigger stronger better more experienced version of Lesnar except without the hype. Sapp has even bench pressed 130 lbs more than lesnar, he makes lesnar pale. Lesnar isn't that special, he's a lot of hype.

I can't believe so many people fall for it though. He only has a 3-1 record. It just goes to show that the hardcore fans will just fantasize everything together when their idol has hardly any fights to go by. And like I said: Lesnar lost to post accident Mir and his biggest accomplishment is beating a much smaller (washed up?) 46 year old fighter with a 16-8 or so record who hadn't fought in one and a half year - and he didn't even look good doing it. That sums up half his MMA fights

I get it though. This is typical USA MMA, they need to see a big strong guy like lesnar or else it doesn't make sense to them. The drunk booing audiences want brawling and things they understand. Obviously there is a market so why not, but I still think lesnar is a waste of a fight.

if you want to see how Fedor draws in the USA look to his Bodog appearance

it's sad, but Fedor doesn't draw (yet) in America, but Lesnar does

Lesnar vs Kimbo would sell better than Lesnar vs Fedor

Why would u look at that. You don't think his drawing power has changed at all since then. It certainly has a lot more people know who he is in NA now then his Bodog fight. Also his opponent for that fight wasn't even worthy.

After the Sylvia and AA ko's he is a known by a much larger amount of people w/ the exposure on yahoo and FSN's special.

I still don't think he's a massive draw yet but they could easily get a lot of hype around that fight no problem.

Who are you to be the authority on something that hasn't happened yet?

It is his opinion, and his opinion is just as valid as yours.

I hope the ufc was joking (it would still be a bad joke then). Giving a guy who's 1-1 in the ufc a title shot over ufc fighters that deserved it more. That win being over HH who sorry to say it is hardly top 10 and that loss to post accident Mir.

The title shot itself was also a complete joke. Officially Randy might still have had it but come on, he is a 46 year old guy who hadn't fought in about one and a half year during which period he had basically denied other fighters (more deserving than lesnar) to win the title from him.

Not sure how much they would draw, but it would draw huge numbers and would be another loss for Lesnar.

Fedor probably isn't as known in North America as someone like Couture for example, but with all the hype this fight will get, it will draw high numbers, as the UFC will be hyping this up as much as possible. They would probably do a Primetime Special on this fight just to introduce Fedor a little more to North American casual fans who probably don't know that much about Fedor and his background history.

It would probably be the biggest fight in history when it comes to PPV buys.

That being said, I also think Lesnar has the best chance of anyone to beating fedor. I say this mainly stylistically, although I wouldnt put money on lesnar. Fedor is undefeated and the best for a reason, so it wouldnt be surprising to see him KO or submit lesnar.

However, as I said stylistically, I think brock has probably the best style chance at beating fedor. If he was able to get on top of him and avoid a mistake/submission, I wouldnt be surprised to see a GNP or decision victory for brock.

Either way the fight would be epic.

Won't have to worry about it, this is one of the many fights Fedor is hiding from.

I don't think they would draw, personally I think Fedor would win.
