1. Dana White opening his illiterate mouth, over and over and over...
2. David Loiseau's performance against Rich Franklin. The outrageous part is that he fought like a little girl and the commentators kept repeating "what a good job he did nonetheless. Pathetic.
3. The hordes of crying sissies that seem to pass through the TUF house.

I've posted it in the heavyweights because I assume the majority of these will be from the ufc since it's been around forever. Lots of unsanctioned mishaps and what not.

Enjoy.

*Holy smokes! 40 pages!!! That's a good 3 days worth of reading.

**Ok so far the 4 big ones that keep coming up (innuendo somewhere) are...

No.4 courtesy of FIERCE ANIMAL "gonzaga crocoping crocop comes to mind"

No.3 Hamil losing to Bisping via 'shady' decision

No.2 GSP getting knocked out by Serra, and.............

No.1 Cecil Peoples' decision making "I gave him that round because he got a takedown..."

1.) Strength of schedule for last year or two
2.) Wins over a year old have no bearing on CURRENT ranking (all time is different)
3.) Must fight your weight class that you have ranking in to get credit
for the win and to help your ranking at THAT rank, BUT, some cross matches are intriguing and should help ALL TIME (GSP versus AS for instance).
4.) OBJECTIVE rankings based on a "WHat have you done lately?" approach, otherwise, MMA won't get respect like other sports get/have.

This is my BIGGEST nuisance.

edit/case-in-point: Nog has THE most impressive list of fights, FINISHES, records (like belt in UFC AND Pride now) others are not close to touching, faced guys others ducked, and JUST because Fedor matched up well and won DECISIONS then SHOULD have one loss (cut stoppage because HE initiated the head butt (Fedor)), well, it is not like Mortal Kombat and take the soul of that guy, then all he beat, lol. Fedor decisioned the ONLY ranked guys he faced. The rest, matched against Nog's schedule (Sapp, Fedor dodged for another instance), is not even close to "ALL time." Rampage needs to hold title against all challengers for 3 years, THEN he can talk shit about Wandy or Chuck (most dominant LHW's to date, historically speaking). Horn, Randy (twice), Tito (twice, when healthy also I should add), BABALU, win over Wandy (who has TWO brutal wins over Rampage), well, Rampage matches well with guys who ONLY punch and who are not versatile strikers. Guys who mix it up (striking) and have cardio beat him, check out his losses or tough fights also. So, he beat Chuck, so NOW, current, he deserves number one rank, he beat Henderson also, so NOW he deserves NUMBER ONE LHW for NOW, within the last year. If you talk all time, Wandy spanked his ass badly, and Chuck has a win over Wandy, and Chuck/Wandy have WAYYYY more on their resume's. ALL TIME, Rampage needs to hold title for a while instead of a questionable win over Henderson then Chuck who he matches up VERY well with.

Rankings need to be objective. NOW is not "All time." In 2004, yes, good, whatever, beat Crocop and Nog with decisions. He never finished a ranked HW (Fedor). Guys lost titles, kept losing, then faced him and lost (Randleman, Coleman over the hill also, etc). Or one-dimensional fighters. It should be about accomplishments. YES, Nog lost to Fedor, BUT, would Fedor match up against Sapp? THEN? Why did he dodge Sapp then and turn the fight down??? Nog takes beatings better, better chin, LEATHER skin compared to Fedor, and NOg took things from others Fedor COULD NOT, then finished. Just because Fedor hangs outside his guard, Nog takes a fall to his own back willingly, Fedor hangs out, dodging subs, scoring points, wins a decision, that does not mean Fedor is better than ALL that NOg faced. THEN, Fedor was arguably number one. Crocop, Nog, decisions. Tim Sylvia finished more HW's, held title in UFC; no respect. Randy beat GG (top 5 at the time as he was undefeated in UFC, then beat Crocop when Crocop was coming off one UFC win and the Sanchez fight), then Tim Sylvia before that. Tim Sylvia faced AA, KO'd Ricco for the title (ranked athe time, Ricco was), and others did similiar things. Fedor had ONE run, and since, has not fought anyone. That is sad.

This shit just gets old. Who fucking cares about 3 years ago. Put an asterisk next to Nog and say, "Fedor had his number, but Nog has all of this also......" Some guys just need their head's slammed, like Randleplex kind. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has them, come with objective rankings, THEN MMA guys will be known, and seen for WHAT THEY DO. Fedor had one run, others did more or as much but faced guys who were hungry, talented, experienced, and often times ranked. That seems more impressive to lose to Mir, and AA rather than face "Zulu" or Schilt (kickboxer but has little TD defense, really), etc. Fujita was game, but not ranked. Randleman was game but not ranked, Coleman was game but not in his prime, and the list goes on and on for "green" or "one dimensional, not ranked" to "over the hill name." Then, the ONLY guys ranked he decisioned. Not the GOAT, not even ranked now (objectively). Randy should not be ranked either.
