What Rampage showed me!

I am still in shock at how quickly this fight ended. Going in, I was conflicted on who to root for. As a UFC fan and Sherdog fan I wanted Chuck to win because I am tired of how everyone thinks that Pride is better than the UFC and how the fighters are so much better. But I also think that Rampage is a very likebale fighter who has shown that he can build a marketable fan base. So I was left with this, no matter who won, the UFC had someone they can promote and promote well.

So now to my point. What I took away from this fight is this, Rampage has some very heavy hands. One looping right and he had his victory over Chuck. He did nothing before the punch. After the punch he did what any other top ranked fighter would have done, he finished the fight. Did he dominate the fight? I would say no. Did Chuck dominate the fight up until then? No. Neither of the guys did much of anything. I give Rampage credit. He went into hostile territory and beat the champion. A new UFC star is born.

To anyone who says that Rampage dominated this fight I ask you this, was Kos dominated by Fickett? Granted in this fight, Chuck didn't dominate most of the fight before losing like Kos did in his fight against Fickett, but he wasn't losing until that looping right connected. ( I am still not sure how Rampage saw where to throw that punch. He wasn't even looking when he started throwing it.) But one moment can change a fight.

Before everyone starts trash talking me, I think Rampage won fair and square. He showed he is a great fighter who can win under adversity, but to say that he dominated the fight is just plain bias opinion. I wish him the best and he at least gained one fan out of this fight. He seems to be a very cool person who gives back to the fans

*Thanks for the correction, had 2 fights mixed together

If there was no action before the KO the guy that got the KO dominated the fight, It's obvious and elementary. Before the punch neither of them did anything. There was a feeling out process then Chuck committed to a body shot and Rampage countered with a right hook. You really seem like you're reaching and it's pathetic.

What the fuck did Chuck do? Nothing at all. So Rampage, obviously, dominated.

This fight learned us three things:

1. Chuck always has been overrated like i always said so and like i always got flamed for.
2. Chuck fought mediocre, below-mediocre fights and Randy, nothing more nothing less.
3. Randy Couture is ALWAYS right when prediciting the results.

Iam going to make this my signature.

Real reason Rampage won like he did has the answer to your question.

there was NONE WHAT SO EVER ANY DOMINATION on either part so there is no point to make of who dominated the fight. it was they started the exchange and Page blocked a body punch and countered with that short right hook that connected and knocked out Chuck. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

I say being on your back getting punched is being dominated.

This is idiotic. If there's minimal action, then the minimal action that took place can constitute as domination.

it's fucking simple.

The fight might be 3 seconds long. If it constitutes of 1 straight right that KO's a dude then it was a domination. Simple. You dudes obviously don't know what the word domination means. It has nothing to do with duration.
